Even "normal" people need some form of validation to stay emotionally in a relationship. What about pwBPD?

If you validate their perspective, will they stop manipulating and lying? Will it help them to stay in the now mentally?

Is there anything that can be done to help them stop lying all the time?

In my own experience no. Lying is like first nature to some of them. I belive no matter how comfortable you make their emotional enviorment they will still feel insecure in some way. I believe they need to lie because, it is the only way for them to survive emotionally. They do not feel worthy enough to just simply tell others their needs. Therefore they lie to get what they feel they need. Its a survival tactic.
