Yes, a slight green-eyed BPDw monster appears! Having been a teacher for 45 years like so many other teachers, I have encountered many former students over the years. A lot of them I am friends with on Facebook, etc., and that's it. We are just friends and no more.

Yesterday, between teaching and tutoring appointments, I stopped by at a Starbucks, and 2 former students shouted to me to say hello. One of them has experienced the loss of a parent, and I talked with her for a little bit. She also has developed a tee shirt with a motto dealing with Alzheimer's. So, I put it on, and the other former student took a photo of her and me smiling right next to one another. She then posted this photo on Facebook.

This afternoon, before my BPDw left for work, she made the comment: "It's nice to see you happy." It was rather evident that seeing that she is so busy with her studies and with her work, that she really doesn't have any time for any relaxation, not alone with me. So, when this former student and I are shown smiling and having a good time, a slight green-eyed BPDw monster appears.

I didn't respond or defend this photo, because it was a happy moment in my life which my BPDw obviously feels jealous about. Again, this former student is a very kind person, and there is nothing going on whatsoever. Whether my BPDw learns from this or not, that's another matter. No matter what, that happy moment in my life cannot be changed or destroyed by my BPDw!
