Hi All. My twenty one year old daughter was diagnosed with BPD last year, five years into her mental health journey. She has constant auditory and sometimes visual hallucinations which absolutely torment her. Do any other BPDs struggle with this?

My daughter struggled with auditory and visual hallucination for about 18 months.  The research I did suggested it was a result of anxiety and/or depression.  After her abilify was increased and she learned coping skills at RTC these events dissipated.

Other research suggested that marijuana use can induce psychosis in some people.

Is your d seeing a psychiatrist and psychologist?

Hi my dd has BPD and only recently started with phycosis and voices, it coincided with her started to smoke weed again 12 weeks after her baby was born, I dont know if that was to blame but it certainly didnt help
