Why marriage and will it change him

I probably know the answer myself. I have witten before that I was the one who left him in a strange country, cause things got so out of hand. I set boundaries and didn't take things personal, but if I had stayed, he would probably tore up the hotel room. Now 8 months later he got engaged on New years eve and married the day after to the same man who already was in a relationship and who was indirectly responsible for him being taken to an emergency psychiatric unit, where I spent the whole day with him sleeping on my Lap. To have that guy walk away with the person I still love so much is hard to take. I know I shouldn't see it as that he is a better person than I am, but it feels like it. He once told me that I was the one for him, but that I was too good. I never understood that. It was like he knew we had st special and Just looked for a way to destroy it. Thanks for listening. I Just feel sad...

Maybe you weren't the one for him... .because there is no "right one" -- because it's always going to follow the same roadmap.
You won't be sad forever. Take care.

I'm starting to come to the realization the pwBPD does not change. It's only about regulating the ups and downs. But they do not change.
