My daughter has BPD. She was so volatile and Paranoid so angry about small things, saying hurtfull things to me in particular, even hitting me , then could be so loving st othets,we haven't  heard anything  from her in nearly  2 years, its heartbreaking, she met someone on line,we were so happy for her thenshe  left severing all communications  and we don't  know why.has anyone else had this happen?

Hello Sealodge,

Welcome to the parenting board, we are glad to have you here though sorry that you need to be.

Unfortunately, it is a common occurrence for adult borderlines to cut off communication with the people who they are closest to. What kind of a relationship did you have with her when she cut out on you?

Do you have any idea where your daughter is?  Maybe through social media or common acquaintances?  Have you heard anything?  I can only imagine how worried you must feel.
