techies?

Ex is in town since yesterday. I left the house earlier today, left door unlocked, ya I know stupid. Tonight I see something sticking out of the side of my computer when I went to plug in my cord to download pics from my phone. It looks like an extension of something. Black, says Vuse on it, one end fit in my computer, the other end has a round hole for plugging something into it. I don't have anything round to plug into one! It can't be mine. What is it? It was in the spot that I plug my cord into so I know I didn't do it because I had to disconnect my cord from my wall charging plug.

I just googled "Vuse"
Could it be the charger for an electric cigarette?

Check your browser history. If you're on a PC, click the Start menu, which should bring up a list of your most recently accessed programs. Do you have a password on your computer?

VUSE is definitely an e-cigarette. I wouldn't worry. I charge mine on the pc.

VUSE is an e-cigarette device. The cord you described could be a charger.  :)oes your Ex smoke, chew tobacco or use e-cigarettes? I guess he was looking for a charge, he forgot and left it behind? Hard to guess what all he rummaged through.  :)id neighbors notice anything?
Accept that he probably was in the house but you may never be able to prove it... .unless he asks to get it back.  :)o you have a security system? Some of the simpler ones with video recording and triggered by motion shouldn't be very expensive.
VUSE is also a Bittorrent downloader. Some users have stopped using it because it comes with adware and changes search providers, etc. This is software so not likely to have a cable like the one you saw.
Why not make a police report that you had an uninvited intruder who left that behind. Then if he asks for it tell him to go claim it from the police. Would he be that stupid to try?
