Beware of Junk Psychology... Just because it's on the Internet doesn't mean it's true. Not all blogs and online "life coaches" are reliable, accurate, or healthy for you. Remember, there is no oversight, no competency testing, no registration, and no accountability for many sites - it is up to you to qualify the resource. we have been in no contact for a couple weeks and she found a new bf. I started to ghost her but felt I needed to apologize for my reactions to her behavior. Its like putting flames on the fire. Every Youtube video I see tells me to ghost her, and in the end just makes me think more about her. coming here and buying the books on " Stop treading on eggshels seems a much more caring approach even if we do not get togther again.

I'd also take some time to consider why you care so much for a person that treated you a certain way.

You have to respect yourself as well as respecting others, and drawing boundaries around how you expect to be treated and enforcing them isn't uncaring.

"Turn the other cheek" doesn't also require you to continue taking abuse, which is, in a way, enabling it.  Holding people accountable is what it is, and you should not let the "unaccountable" person argue and persuade you otherwise.

Hi Taluson,

I’m sorry that you’re going through this.Do you have an update for us? Has she been in no contact in the past? Can relate with wanting to help someone with a mental disorder. Is she self aware?
