Hi:
My adult child has BPD and just moved home with me. She is not in counseling and can be very abusive and combative. People say just kick her out, but that doesn't seem right. Suggestions?

Hi heartmom

Welcome to the forum. I'm sorry to hear that your daughter has BPD and found herself back at home again. It's so difficult to cope with their behaviours.

My son returned back home at 24 so I know the difficulties. I found this forum and it's been my life saviour. There's ways to help you more effectively interact with your daughter to help her and you remain more calm.

It'd help if we knew a bit more about your situation.

How old is she and is she working?

What kind of things is she abusive about?

You've come to the right place for support.
