Hi family,

Does anyone else have dreams about your r/s.

What does it mean.

Here is my dream last nite:

I was over at this young lady's house, 21, and she had another friend there, I didn't know these young women.  The 21yr old says, yesterday was relationship day, and i sent C.  ( my Sep s.o.) a card.!

In my dream, I was shocked.  Then, in my dream, I went to C. house.  He was friendly, he wanted to take me to a hotel he or someone, had rented for the weekend, it was so strange of him to offer me that.  I said, no, I don't think so.

It's like I was being who I am.  In the dream.

He was out of character.  He wasn't who I have known him to be, 10 yr r/s, lived together.

Does this mean anything.

Thanks so much!

I took a neat little class on dream interpretation many many years ago. They way they told us to interpret our dreams was to pretend you were describing some of hte places, objects, etc. to someone who is from another planet. How would you describe it? Once you described it, is there something going on in your life that meets the same description?

What would a hotel represent for you? How did you feel in it? How did you feel when you told him no?

Thank you for sharing.

I didn't go to the hotel, I just heard about it, the young ladies and him talked about it on my dream.

I think the hotel represents the possibility of us going on a trip.

We went on so many trips in our ten years, and also we went to a recovery weekend together, in December, stayed in the same room, same bed!

He held a pillow to him, so he wouldn't touch me I guess.  I wore PJ's.

I am so unsure of what is going on.  It is the strangest thing.

I have a recurring nightmare which I guess is about my relationship/life.   I've had the same dream over and over for years and years now ever since I read a short story in Hitchcock book.

In the story ,  two men are grave robbers/treasure thieves in the Middle East.   The find a beautiful alabaster statue,  they end up murdering a guard at a checkpoint and drive thru a rain storm only to find the statue missing when they get across the border... .One of the men realizes that the reason the statue was so beautiful and perfect was they had found Lot's wife and she has dissolved as they drove in the storm.

The story of Lot's wife really, really terrified me as a child and once I read this story as an adult,   I havent been able to shake this nightmare.    I'm always the dissolving woman.    I'm sure it's about all the little parts of myself that I have left behind over the years of trying to deal with H's illness.    Sometimes I feel like I really will dissolve all the way down to complete nonexistence... .
