Need Help—looking for a psychiatrist and a psychologist in the NYC area

I have a 33 year old daughter with severe BPD.  She was a various cocktails of drugs from various psychiatrists for over 22 years none of which helped her.  She is non compliant and listens to no one.

She is now into holistic medicines which require her taking hundreds of pills a day which more than half the time she does not take.

She has every trait of a severe BPD personality.

I am looking for a Psychiatrist and a psychologist in the New York City area that has treated someone with this very difficult situation.  I am willing to travel if necessary.

I am desperate and am going out of my mind from her erratic behavior.  If anyone knows anyone please let me know.

Hi steveb and welcome.  I am so sorry to hear of your daughters difficulties.  You are in a place where many parents share and can relate to your situation. 

Unfortunately I do not know of any psychiatrists/psychologists in NY for you to contact.  Has she tried DBT therapy or ever been through in-patient treatment?  You said she is non-compliant with meds ... .does that apply to other forms of therapy as well? 

I don't normally post on this board but I wanted to at least say hello and welcome you.  We can offer you support and a place to talk with other parents right here so I am glad you reached out.
