hi Birds, and Welcome

while there is no known cure for BPD, there is treatment and effective management, and very high remission rates. for loved ones, there are tools that help us cope, navigate, and better support our BPD loved one.

is there someone with BPD in your life? whats your relationship with them like?

Hi Birds and welcome to the family  Welcome new member (click to insert in post)

Weird isn't it, that first post to a forum, the unknown! Like you my first post to a forum was here, when I joined bpdfamily back at the end of 2015. Best decision ever   As once says BPD can be managed with effective treatment, through to remission. My 30yr daughter is now managing her BPD following Dialectical Behaviour Treatment for (DBT) combined with getting meds right for her depression, anxiety... .and most importantly the changes I've made, for me. What's happening Birds, parents are here to support you, we're all in this together.  How old is your child, what behaviours are you dealing with?
