Different wavelengths.

My SO and I don’t seem to be able to connect on anything.  When I joke or act goofy, they think I’m being serious.   I can bring up a subject and get ignored only to have it come up and hour later from my SO with no acknowledgement it had been discussed.   They live their life in their phone, something they always accused me of.  I’m always the person trying to engage and most times these days I feel like I’m invisible. 

I know it will never be perfect, but it’s hard to be ignored.
