Hello- this is my first post here. Our 17 year old daughter very clearly has BPD, and it is definitely impacting her. There was also a suicide attempt. The good news is she is willing to go into treatment. We are looking at the best residential options, and a lot of the threads seem older, so I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for who is good these days? 3 East appears to be the gold standard, but any other recommendations? Thank you.

Thank you for writing in.
I read up on 3 East ( googled) and it seems good.  My son was in residential in another facility in Maryland 10 years or so ago so I don't have the most up to date information personally.  The only thing I can add is follow what your daughter's therapist recommends and please write back as you need to.  It is good she is willing and you found a fit.

Silver Hills Hospital in CT is also good, however, they do not take insurance.  I have search for places using the below link.

Good luck.

You don't say where you are, but Hillside in Atlanta is a good option if your daughter is in school. https://hside.org/
