Bettering myself for her

I have just joined this because my ex girlfriend who is the love of my life was diagnosed with bpd we are still talking and have plans to get back together at somepoint but her anxiety is too high at this point to do so. I’ve been learning how to react and respond correctly and I’ve been learning what to do to help in the best way possible. But unfortunately the reason we broke up was I made the biggest mistake of my life and I let my unhappiness take over me and I blamed her for it and in result I cheated on her back in last July. I will own up to this action but it does not define me and my morals. This is my forever girl and I’ve grown so much since then. But I want to continue to better myself and learn how to really be the best for her and for our relationship. If you could post this in the blog or community to help me get tips about having a relationship with someone who has bpd I would really greatly appreciate it. She is the most amazing girl I’ve ever met and I want her to be with someone that can understand and know how she is feeling and do anything that helps in return. Thank you.

Payhd,
and welcome to the family! Don't worry, you have been through a tough time but there is hope. Only you will receive better advice if you post on the Bettering a relationship or reversing a break up board. This board is for sons and daughters of BPD.
Looking forward to seeing you on Bettering
