Godchild of exBPDgf in danger ?
«

The son (1,5 years old) of my exBPDgf's brother is also her godchild. She's has a very strong connection with the boy.
I'm wondering if she's capable of doing this boy wrong in the future. I'm afraid she's projecting herself on the kid.
She was herself bullied in school (she was redheaded) and one of the last dreams (or nightmares) she told me about was that the boy was bullied in school.
Now I'm somewhere afraid that once the boy goes to school, she would want to protect him against all her fears, and hurt him instead.
Anyone knows stories of BPD's hurting people they want to protect (especially kids) ?
Or is this farfetched by me ?

I can see how you would be worried about this situation This boy and his Dad are therefore the nephew and brother of your exuBPDgf right?
How much influence do you expect you will be able to implement?  :)o you think her brother (and his wife) would be interested in what you have to say about their sister/SIL and their child?
I am thinking that unless you have a close relationship with them and you expect it to continue, I dont expect your thoughts will be appreciated by your ex's family.
Telling the family of a pwBPD of your suspicions about BPD does not generally go well. And if they already know, well, they already know, and will take their own precautions.
