Well, I got a voicemail

Only a few days after changing my number to avoid this type of thing, I get a call from a number I don't recognize, and promptly ignored. The ensuing voicemail was very loud and jarbled, but I could make out bits and pieces of a song.

Weak and Powerless, by A Perfect Circle.

100% certain it's my ex. I'm sure I could read into the choice of song, but I'm sure she just heard it on the radio and thought of me, as she knows I'm a big tool/perfect circle fan.

But still, what a strange way to break NC after 3 months. Especially after you dump me, call the police, brand me a cheater and an abuser, and find a new guy in the span of a month. But, sure I'll just forget all that and we can reminisce.

Not even gonna try to figure out how she got the new number.

yes, it is annoying that she got the new number that fast.   

Unfortunately we cannot really control all this stuff. Only be consistent to not answer or not calling from your side. I hope for you she will not continue.

I dig A Perfect Circle too... .Counting Bodies Like Sheep to The Rhythm of the War Drums... ha! Put that one on her voicemail!  Kidding... Just trying to make you smile. Really... That would just be a game. I have enough crap in my mind I don't need those kind of games. I blocked my voicemail from her and a few days ago the ex tried to call me from her parents house. I did not respond but i have been here a lot. Just ignore it... .That's what I do. It helps in that there is not much new contact to have to try and process. Too much old stuff. Can't take any new stuff.
