D17 now in jail

Ok so after 3 times in the hospital in less than a month now my 17d is in jail for attacking me with sissors, I feel very bad about the situation but she has a 2 year old that i care for, I guess and i just looking to vent i miss her terriably but its like i dont even know who she is anymore! so I just wait and see what happens now i guess... .

Our objective is to better understand the struggles our child faces and to learn the skills to improve our relationship and provide a supportive environment and also improve on our own emotional responses, attitudes and effectiveness as a family leaders

I'm so sorry your family is going through all of this!  You must be heartbroken to see your daughter in so much pain.  It is crazy how we go through all this with them and want them to come back hoping it will be better.  How is the baby?  Is the father in the picture?  Would you mind telling us more about the hospitalizations and the attack on you?  Are you ok?  What are your plans after this?

I am fine thebabys father could really care less about her he hasnt even seen her for her b day nov 1 or Christmas he just called to get the "scoop" because it made the news and of course the blew it all out of the water because it makes ratings she was acting crazy the day brfore running around with a knife, she went into a phyc hospital for atempiting to kill herself and thinking of hurting other the first 2 times the out her on anti-dep that did not seem to help we made 3 trips to the local mental health and they were still in the intake process I believe she needs to go into a long term care facility to get well all she wats to do is get together with her bf who tried to kill his mother and was just released from prision a year ago she doesnt care about anything but that and they both have hurt each other physically so that is what i want for her to get well and i know she will have to be gone for a while

Oh Kimmy    I'm so sorry you're going through this.  I can really feel your pain through your message. 

That boyfriend sounds pretty scary!  I hope you can get her into a treatment facility to get away from him.  Fortunately she is a minor so you will have tons of contact with her during treatment.  Phone calls and you visiting and when she's ready she will be able to have home visits.
