I just wanted to reply to this so it could get bumped up to the top as well. I posted a while back about a speaking engagement in Toronto canada but no one has responded to my post after going. I would be very interested hear from people who have gone. Her book is so helpful and I really go back to it over and over agin to reread... .

I have taken the weekend family survival skills and it was well worth it. I learned so much about the neurobiology of BPD and was very lucky to be with a group of very compassionate people. Valerie is open, honest and a true advocate.

Like jellibeans, I've read her book more then once on my reader then i ordered a hard copy so i could highlight and tag. It's been my go to book.

I know she also does some webinar classes as well. She also does a weekly class with those suffering from BPD.

All info can be found on the website tara4BPD.org.  All the best!

i took the course with my DH two yrs ago.  it was life-changing for me bec I really did not know much about BPD before that.  I brought my adult daughters to some of the classes and they gained a lot too.  when I  started the class I had been thru years of turmoil with my ds26 and  I was angry at him, but I learned from Valerie to look at him with compassion instead of anger.  It took me a long time to put her tools into

practice but my attitude toward the situation changed immediately...   I also think that it helped me and dh become a team bec we both had access to the same information finally.
