Charmed and rebetrayed

[How to communicate after a contentious divorce...]

To put it simply and without too much information I got charmed used and rebetrayed overnight. She said she loved and appreciated everything I had done for her and then promptly ignored me the night afterward and was with another dude and then refused my calls. My question is why do they seem to take such pleasure in abandoning and hurting you when she knows I have done everything for her and love her so much. I still cannot accept it. But it is like fool me twice and I will not fall for it again. Each time it is more abrupt less of and up down cycle and more like hey look how cruel I can be. Say I love you and then in almost a moment turn ignore and totally crush you as if it is fun to them. I am through trying to figure it out and will go full no contact and hope she does as I believe she will. Just hopefully no other actions to hurt me will be taken by her except to cut me out, which I know is a blessing if that is all that occurs. When she realizes there will be no contact I hope she does not send nasty messages and try to trash my car or something if she sees it parked or such insanity. I did send her one  text that just said u are so cruel. And that is the end of that I hope. I must begin to recover again. I apologize for trying again but I truly fell for whatever she portrayed herself to be and that is just my weakness I guess.

This is what they do.  They love to have power over people.

You need to break the hold she's got, it's hard but you can do it.

Remember,  you can be free of the demon that is ruining her life. She never will be.
