Threats from BPD's friends / current partner
«

I split up with my BPD ex last month, I have been threatened by her best freind/ her new lover, not sure which but she is an ex to her as well.
Her freind/partner has threatened to rip my lungs out if I don't leave my BPD ex alone yet I have been nc for the last week.
How do I even react to that or do i just ignore it?
Is my BPD ex lying about me to people around her? The hatred has really upset me.

I would definitely keep NC. If she tells people that you are stalking her or whatever, they are likely to ask How so? When your ex has no communications to show, they will think she is crazy. I would also avoid mentioning anything about her or your relationship to any mutual friends. Go ghost.

keep documentation of the threats. maybe even go file a restraining order.
in establishing NC, be certain to send a clear, concise "don't contact me again" message to all involved as well. after sending the message, if they continue to harass you the next step is a legal response or to just ignore them and go about your business.

Cool thanks, am less upset now.
I met her through my best friends, he lived with us for 9 months so knows how she is.
I think I need him to get through this, do I ask him to nc with her or do I just ask him not to talk to me about her?
