Intervention Order

Well,
It's over in one sense and starting in another. Settled before hearing, really happy with solicitor and barrister with how they approached it. Police ended up sitting and talking with dBPDgf for around 15-20 minutes talking her into accepting an intervention order without any findings. So I agree not do do XYZ with her for 12 months however no findings of guilt or any of that.
Magistrate was very direct with one thing questioning a thing on the initial intervention order. The whole process is so just wrong... .
Made me stand up and listen to her explain it all and asked why I was smiling and said it wasn't a joke. I informed her it had cost me $6,000 dollars to get to the end of it was was glad it was over and said it wasn't a joke at all, it was a very serious allegation that was false and I was happy I was done with it all and was looking to spend more time with my son, my exact words, I haven't had dinner with him in over 18 months your honour, I am looking forward to making him dinner and putting him to bed more than anything else.
Sort of ended the put down I was receiving from her and she moved on.
As soon as its over get an e-mail from BPDex saying, this is how we will go forward, I wont accept XYZ, your not welcome to attend ABC etc etc.
Straight into controlling dictating mode acting with a sense of entitlement and saying that how I have acted is inappropriate.
I CBF responding atm. I'm just going to let it be and enjoy not having this hanging over my head, I know how to avoid it all so I cant be charged, I am happy this part is over.
AJJ.

Priceless. And on the record too I hope.

Glad to hear it's over AussieJJ.
I found my ex's controlling and dysregulated behavior was worse before and after a court hearing. Other things would trigger him, sometimes simple things that happened in his own head, but for the most part things were worse when court was on the calendar.
I hope your ex settles down so you can get a brief respite.
And enjoy dinner and nighttime routine with your son
