I have been reading this thread: https://bpdfamily.com/message_board/index.php?topic=95860.0

And I have a few questions about it.

What exactly is considered a breakup and a recycle?

-The first week I knew my ex (2 dates in, not in a relationship), she ended up saying she didn't want to see me anymore. About a week later she came back into contact and asked if we could be friends. Which we became official shortly after.

-Later she became non responsive for a couple days after we got into an argument.

-Days after that she "broke up with me", to come back less than 12 hours later.

-Then the big breakup happened

-2 Months after she broke up with her replacement bf, she started to text me for a period of a week. Started acting nice, while blaming me for some stuff. Eventually she became really unresponsive and told me we shouldn't talk anymore.

How many of these could be considered actual breakups/recycles?

Dad to my wolf pack

Well, considering your first example, it deoends on how you define a r/s. My Ex defines a r/s as being sealed by sex (her justification for not really cheating on me in the beginning, heavy petting and lovey-dovey words don't count to her).

I would qualify you last example as a recycle, just contact. How would you define it?

I assume so. It kinda feels like she was just checking in though.

I was worried/relieved (depends on the day) that she has left for good. But it seems I haven't been through as many recycles as I thought.

I'm debating whether to go to the L2 board or not. I'm going to continue to process what it is that I think I want, and what it is that I actually need.

Under no circumstance am I going to initiate contact. I know that is a very bad move according to people on this board.
