I have allowed myself to perform acts of perversion with people I don't know. My marriage has spiraled out of control. I have eating problems. At the moment I feel like any time I start a relationship or even friendship I get this intense pain and feeling of splitting. My antidepressant medication does nothing for me. I sit alone in the bath and cry to myself. I am so afraid that my daughters have what I have. I hope they don't get molested like I was. How do I protect them?

Hi JarSofGold and welcome to bpdfamily

I am very sorry you are having these problems. It is horrible that you got molested. Have you ever gotten any help to process what you've been through and help you heal?

You do mention your medication, but you say it isn't doing anything for you. Are you currently perhaps (also) getting help from a therapist or counselor?

You are afraid your daughters also have what you have. Could you elaborate on this, what exactly do you have? Have you been officially diagnosed?

As a parent I think it is normal to want the best for your children. Do you see anything in your daughters' behavior that would suggest they might have a disorder? Do you have any reason to believe they are currently at risk of being molested?
