I'm new here, today is my first day.

My daughter has BPD. And she has completely cut me out of her life and my 2 year old grand-daughter's life.

I feel like I'm in shock and I'm floundering. I started reading "Stop Walking on Egg shells." I'm starting to shift my thinking, but in all honesty I'm in a lot of pain. I'm crying and crying and thinking about it way too much.

Hello LoveWinnie   welcome to bpdfamily

I'm so very sorry for your pain, shock and you are floundering, as you'll read from posts, members here relate to your situation what you're going through, you are not alone, you've come to the right place for support and understanding.

Is it a recent diagnosis, when did you last hear from your DD?

Learning through the great resources and members here, about BPD and understanding the context for me and my 28DD over the last 18 months has helped me centre myself, focus and identify my personal priorities. I work on me slowly at my own speed. It's helped me stop overthinking you say you are, ruminating - shift my thinking, invest in personal growth, self care and move to acceptance.

I understand, you are in a difficult place right now, in shock and grieving, it's a painful place for sure and part of the process to be in a better place, big hug to you.

LoveWinnie do you have a family member, friend who you can talk to?

Small gentle steps, day by day. I'm so glad you've found us we are walking the path together, we are here to support you as you move forwards.
