I fear my 28 yr. old daughter has BPD traits.  Her father (my ex-husband) I believe has narcisstic personality disorder.
She does not live with me and when I try to reach out she is  angry and abusive-  I contact her occasionally but it never seems to change- in fact gets worse.  She has made impulsive, bad financial decisions and I do not think bailing her out will help.  I am at my wits end as to what to do.

Hello BPDpar

Welcome to bpdfamily   I'm sorry what you are dealing with your daughter and understand why you are at your wits end, I'm glad you've reached out for support, parents here understand, you are not alone.

You say your DD lives elsewhere and when you reach out she is angry and abusive. Is she also placing pressure on you to bail out her impulsive financial decisions?
