Daughter suffering from BPD

[Heartpain]

Hi guys. I'm a mom in a lot of pain. I am parenting a 27 yr old daughter who still lives at home. The long 10 yr journey has been confusing, scary and full of wrong turns and detours until I came to realize what my daughter is truly suffering from. She has borderline traits. Our lives have been impacted to the point that right now I'm in a lot of pain and feeling very stuck and hopeless. I type this with tears streaming down my eyes making it hard to see. I pray that G-d heals my daughter but I don't know how He will. Denali is our worst roadblock. My inability to deal with this well is another. Yes I've been to dbt therapists and groups and those gave me hope for a while. But we could never impact out daughter enough to get HER to get help. We managed to get her to therapy a couple of times with a couple of therapists. But as the saying goes, you can get a horse to water but you can't make it drink. Please help me believe there is a way out of this maze. Trapped.

Our objective is to better understand the struggles our child faces and to learn the skills to improve our relationship and provide a supportive environment and also improve on our own emotional responses, attitudes and effectiveness as a family leaders

Dear Heartpain,
My daughter is 26 so I suspect we have much in common.  It sounds like you have worked SO hard on helping your daughter!  I've only been a member of this forum for about a month, so a fellow NEWBIE.  Keep posting, sometime just venting to people who understand (like me) helps.  Give yourself credit and a break!  If for no other reason than you can't help someone when you are beaten down yourself.  Even something as simple as a hot bath. 
Is having your daughter not live with you a possibility?
