Hi Laffingmoon and welcome to bpdfamily

How long ago did your daughter get diagnosed with BPD and what exactly led up to her receiving this diagnosis?

So far her counseling unfortunately has not had the effect you would like to see. What kind of counseling/therapy has your daughter received?

Has your daughter perhaps expressed how she feels about the counselling she shas received?

 Hi!  Welcome Laffingmoon,

Wow, if I knew the answer to that I'd put it in play with my own D. I know very well how frustrating it is. My D is pretty low functioning, although if you were to meet her, interact with her, you would never suspect she had mental challenges.    My D does NOTHING all day. We are just now getting to a place where she doesn't sleep all day. Her only interest is smoking and her phone.
I'm sorry for not being of help, sometimes we parents find ourselves in the same boat   but I am glad you found this place. It helps just to have other who understand how you feel. I've really been working hard on letting of resentment with my D. I think what kind of quality of life is nothingness?
Then I have to remind myself... .it's not my life! You didn't share how old your D is. A lot of the time I just have to let GO, she makes her own decisions and has to live with the out come of them.
    Any way glad you're here
