It's been over a year since we split up and yet I still am constantly bombarded with emails. I do my best to ignore him, it is quite hard since we have a child together. He has become obsessed with psychology. So every week he has some new diagnosis for me. This all started when I suggested he might have a disorder. Never said he had one. I want nothing more than to have him just leave me alone. I'm trying to move on with my life and trying to get myself better for my children but he makes it hard. I get 50-100 emails a day sometimes. He will email and email until I snap and that's what he needs, he needs me to snap so that he will feel validated. So he can say "see look, it is you. Not me." I just needed to vent. :-/

Relationship status: Dated him for a month. Living apart. Recycled r/s for another month unsuccessfully. Overall, 2 months of whirlwind r/s. I decided to go NC with him since 22/11/2018.

Hi JustGoAway123,

Welcome to the board and glad you found the support here and vented it out. I understand your situation. You want to move on but he doesn't. I can resonate to you on him trying to "diagnose" you of any mental illness you might have to put a blame on you and distorting the facts to make you doubt yourself. My uBPDexbf just told me that I had schizophrenia and when I pressed him to explain why, he just told me to read it up myself.

I know it's difficult to detach when he emails you that many each day. Just remember your goal of getting better. He will always be like this and it's not your problem for you to solve anymore.

Not sure if this will help but I hope so!
