Back again...

Court is heating up. Next hearing likely there will be a court appointed psychological assessment of family-- I had asked for ex to be assessed, but will settle for all of us.

At same time ex made allegations to CPS that I 1. Withheld or prevented therapy for my kids. 2. Abused my position in the health service to prevent my kids accessing therapy.

These allegations are the same as the ones my ex made at the last court hearing.

CPS are taking action regarding these allegations. Even with correspondence from counselling companies which contradict allegation 1. CPS maintain I have prevented therapy. The correspondence I have this week states that my daughter's referral was passed to a specialist child MH service and my son's referral was declined as they didn't think he needed it at the moment.

Regarding 2. It is alleged that I changed employer to the one that provided a child MH assessment in order to prevent the service from giving therapy to my daughter.   I changed employer following my ex making allegations about me to my employer last year...plus it was a very good opportunity/more money. Its a very big organisation, and I don't have direct contact with child services.

CPS have reported these allegations to my employer. I'm waiting to find out what my employer will do. Allegations to my employer are that I pose a risk to staff and patients in my organisation.

I've only been in my job three months. Fortunately my boss told me that in her mind this is my ex trying to spoil my new job... Which seems rather perceptive. Sounds like her ex did something similar for a short period.

I feel like I'm in an alternative reality again. Yet again facing allegations at work and in my private life.

I'm sorry, SES, that sounds really frustrating and scary.

I am not a fan of CPS. I am sure that there are workers out there who genuinely care about the well being of children, but I don't have any good experiences with them.

It's good that your boss seems to be perceptive and understanding. It may be that she has had experience dealing with a similar situation.

What does your lawyer say about the allegations and CPS' response to them?

Boss has been kind.

In process of getting advice about how to protect self in terms of work.

It seems like an alternative reality.

What does the court-appointed assessment entail?

Are you able to ask for specific kinds of evals, and does the evaluator have to be a forensic psychiatrist trained to administer specific tests?

The one being proposed is a Psychiatrist who is also a Psychotherapist. I read their CV and thought they looked good.. I welcome it... I would like an assessment of ex and her impact on kids.
