Hi, I am struggling as a mom with a teen (15yo) daughter recently diagnosed with BPD. We have lost our relationship as mother daughter and I am at a loss to connect with her. She desires to be with her dad (we have been divorced since she was 3) most of the time after living primarily with me her whole life due to her male abandonment issues. She is getting therapy and treatment, though dad struggles with his own anxiety/depression which puts a divide between the co-parents as he tends to be a friend more than a parent. Hoping to learn from anyone out there how you are able to manage as a fellow mom and not feel beaten down and useless every day. Thanks!

Hi, I'm sorry you're going through this. I am kind of new here and I am looking for answers too. You're not alone. I wish you well.
