Struggling this week.  Grown daughter, BP, NPD, projecting on me.  So painful to hear her many rejections.

Hi ScotsAbbey  Welcome new member (click to insert in post)

Sorry you had to find us but really glad you did. I see that you last posted in 2020 and came back this week. I'm glad you are reaching out for support, none of us can do this alone.

Can you share a bit more of what's going on? It helps to get to know someone and knowing what behaviors you are seeing/dealing with from your BPD child helps us know the best way to support you.

Sadness is a familiar feeling for many of us and sometimes it can get overwhelming. Do you have support from friends, family, a therapist?

I hope to hear more from you - for some reason, your posts hit me hard as I have been absent from these pages for a long time and, in my current grief I am realizing how much the amazing people here helped me.

This last couple of weeks have been a struggle here too. Some days I can let all the abuse and putdowns go right past me. Other days they knock me for six.

I come here on those days and just read others' posts. It helps knowing I am not alone. Otherwise living with someone with bpd can be the loneliest road!

Be kind to yourself whenever you can . . .
