Book Description
Living with a pwBPD can be highly stressful and traumatic. One would hope that once the immediate drama has ended or calmed down all would be well. Indeed for many recovery is a long natural process where the situation improves. But some for whatever reason begin to struggle with new, bewildering mental and/or physical symptoms that go beyond normal recovery from exhaustion or grieving detachment.

PTSD is complex and the author starts with a comprehensive summary of the condition providing validation of the often perplexing dynamic and symptoms. He then provides the outlines of treatment and recovery process. There is a part on the basics of emotional self care aiming at stabilization and preparing the recovery process. It concludes by a quite comprehensive part on the of different treatment options allowing one to make better informed decision when it comes to seeking professional help and going through the healing process.
