Receptacle

I'm a huge 'Star Trek' fan.  Not long ago I saw a 'Next Generation' episode I had forgot.  It was about a mediator who used one chosen other person as his 'receptacle' for his dark emotions.  In the episode, his 'receptacle' dies and he bonds with Counselor Troi.  As his new receptacle, all Troi's dark emotions begin to come out and she rapidly ages. 

This is the EXACT way I feel.  I feel I am little more than a receptacle at this point.  She projects everything on me and this leads to my dark emotions coming out more and more.  I also feel I am slowly dying inside.  But I know that if I break the 'bond' she will be the one who suffers along with our children.  At least if I physically don't survive, I will not have intentionally stopped being her 'receptacle.'
