I'm keeping a loose one, 'cause I realized that I kinda need to keep track of triggering, etc.

It's kinda useful because I was used to other people dictating how I felt about things... . and people would override me, so I'm trying to suss out what makes me tick a bit better.

For example, I discovered that I really hate confrontation of any kind. Even standing up for myself. I wonder if that's purely conditioning. I do it, but I don't like it. =P I wonder if that's leftover codependency. (Plus I'm still trying to figure out the line between selfish and standing up for yourself... . ) I still don't know if it's codependency, conditioning or just my huge distaste for it given recent events. (the breaking up with my parents).

The mood journal helps me track it a bit better. What triggers the downs, what makes me happy, etc. It's like weeding out the conditioning... . by being in tune with myself.

It's messy, but emotions are... . and I don't know what to do with it after... . but I'm still trying it.

Just wondering if anyone else is trying it?

I do too. It is not just a mood diary, I write down and get it out of my mind.
