I have a Dream

Today is Martin Luther King Day. He had a dream and a vision for all African-Americans to find equality, respect, and a better life filled with happiness and hope.
That is my dream today for all people with BPD and those who care for them. God bless us all and give us the courage and strength to move forward toward a more peaceful life.

MammaMia,
I will join you in your dream.
This reminded me of a thought of mine in the past. My xBPDh had 2 pitbull dogs. As I got to know them over the years, I realized the dogs were very kind but would get viscous only to protect him (which only happened in serious danger). Yet, it was almost impossible for my ex to find places to rent with them. People would walk across the street to avoid him when walking his dogs.
In some way, my ex reminds me of a pit bull. He was rejected by society due to his rages, antics; even though he didn't actually want to hurt anyone and was just reacting to his deep fears the only way he knew how.
I wish for him and my family a day when we find self-respect, love and a better life. Thank you.

Pitbulls get a bad wrap. Maybe pwBPD do too sometimes? Their illness is so bizarre, frustrating, and cruel. It is pretty hard to live with them... . I would definitely prefer the Pitbulls.
Thank you. You made me smile!
