BPD girlfriend left and filed an order for protection

Well I'm new here. Been 3 weeks since my girlfriend with BPD put an Domestic Violence Orders of Protection and Restraining Orders on me.  With her 4 years, done my best, gave my heart to her, all the love I could show. Yeah she has ripped my soul out, no closure, barely hanging on to my job, cannot function.

Sorry to hear what you have been put through,  take care of yourself ( as hard as that seems right now ) 

You basically have to 're-group'  look after yourself and get your life in order without her for now, and give her some time and you will probably hear from her . Do not chase after her however much you may feel the need to, it won't work,  don't pressure her , don't appear 'needy' . Just get on with some other things , especially things that make you feel good , meet some other people as well.

You will get through this ,  she is the one who is not functioning , don't let her illness damage you as well.
