Can you provide some more detail? What is it that you are having a hard time with?

Hi Dexie,
Joining C.Stein in saying hello.
Staying in a relationship with someone who has BPD is challenging. Is your BF diagnosed? What behaviors does he exhibit that are giving you problems? Have you two been together for a while?
Hope you'll let us know more when you feel comfortable sharing.

been seeing someone that has BPD for 3 years and he was just diagnosed 3 months ago. Got on the computer to look up the symptoms and there it was, finally an answer to everything that had been going on. not knowing about his PD, i probably did a lot of damage by taking it personally. i try really hard not to take it personally now but i struggle with it and feel like I'm going to make his condition worse. Ive had to stop him from coming to my place cause i felt so unsafe when he was around and he just took everything over, it was as though i was under his order. My boundaries are obviously weak, I'm going to counselling next week. For now, I'm not sure whats happening with us. He says he wants to stay together but he's doing nothing to get therapy and he's always unpleasant to be around. I'm always feeling like I'm his enemy and walking on eggshells
