Your exBPDgf likely had you split black, I'm going to guess that she had nothing good to say about you? I was split black when my ex wife left and she was telling our friends and family that I was abusive. For all I know they probably still believe that I was abusive and all of her exes, I would hope that at some point somebody will ask why is she making the same choices ? That said.
I don't have to prove myself to my ex or ex in-laws because my relationship is with my kids and not with them. If you're a good dad it is reflected in your relationship with your kids and friends, families and strangers will pick up in that. Somebody's opinion of you doesn't define who you are.
Im the one that left, but she was treating me like crap. she named the child without me, had allowed me at one one doc appt even tho I've paid for the appts, so I wanted to get the baby some stuff and help get her started. I don't speak with her because it's always a fight and me being blamed for causing problems
