Returned from vacation , no major incidents

We landed back on American soil a couple of days ago after nearly 3 weeks in our homeland without major incident and I can scarcely believe it ! Other than one night with my BpdDD drinking too much with her friends and being a tad sick afterwards, we had a very smooth and uneventful trip. Prior to us leaving for this vacation, I was worrying myself sick and envisioning my BpdDD having tantrums about returning to the States and I had a dream that she refused to get on the plane . I even had a bit of a contingency plan and conversation responses pre planned should i find myself in that predicament. This is because my DD had been talking for some months about how she hates it here in the States and how she wanted to return to Scotland to live. I was also preparing myself for her falling apart at the seams upon our return .
I am pleased to report however that as soon as our plane landed back on American soil, she cheerfully stated " it feels good to be back in America , I don't see myself returning to live in Scotland now. It was nice to visit , but I'm glad to be home. All my friends do back there is drink and I don't want to be like them. I'm happy to be back"
Omg I was so relieved ! So far so good! She seems quite chirpy and has set herself a goal to be off her medications or at least on reduced doses for this time next year. Fingers crossed this period of stabalisation continues as I'm enjoying it! Just need to be sure I don't become complacent and take my eye off the ball! Perhaps though, she will be able to settle a bit more now and not be in such a "grass is greener " mindset as this is such a trigger for her.

Glad you had a good vacation, without problems. Good that you had a contingency plan, with a little prep. I'm a fan of preparing for the worst and hoping for the best.
Best wishes for continued improvements!
