Hi! I'm hoping to get some guidance, my girlfriend has been diagnosed with BPD, we've been together about 11 months now. She was in a 14 yea relationship and was diagnosed 4 years ago. She spilt with her ex over two years ago and has two beautiful children with him. She's a fantastic mother. I've been dumped on average every month, she gets bad pms and this makes things a whole lot worse. This is mostly when she dumps me. She is not abusive of bad tempered, she has her moments like anyone, she goes distant round the period mainly or when she has stress, when she has stress I'm the first thing that gets pushed out of the equation. Too much to go into but long story short most of the times she's dumped me she's contacted me a few weeks later, 2/3 on average. She found it hard to move on from her ex and felt guilty about splitting her family up. Anyway. Since October things have been amazing, when she's full on she's all over me, close to Christmas we looked at houses and if freaked her out a little, I said it was fine we were just looking, so she said you can move in with me maybe after March, she lives in Aberdeen I'm from county Durham 250 miles away, all was good till just after Christmas, her ex has a new partner whom has stared getting on with her girls 6 and 9 and they are all always together as a family unit, they share the kids half the week an every other weekend, all is amicable mostly, there were a few stressful moments over Christmas and long story short she feels like she is loosing her childern as it's always been her and her girls till they spilt up, her ex didn't do much family stuff so she has more or less brought them up and made them the wonderful children they are today. I get on great with them. Since after Christmas she been distant and stressed. She said on Monday that this isn't working for her as she's not ready for me to move in, all she had to say was that I've never pressured her, although the day before she dumped me I said I wish I was there all the time to support you, she said I'm not ready for that and I just like being with my girls sometimes. All understandable. I said a few things that didn't help but the conversation was short and she ended it. I'm at my whits end, I know there is nothing I can do, evert times feels like the last, we get on so well it's amazing, then just theses things, all I can do is wait and see if she comes back, I'm praying I hear from her again. She says I'm amazing and all she ever wanted and I feel the same, last week she said she wished I was with her and she missed me then this.
