I am interested how were able to get your pwBPD to got to seek help through a therapist?
Well firstly, I was moving ahead with the divorce and she got scared - and counseling was the only path that I offered to the possibility of reconciliation. I don't think that her individual counseling has gotten tough yet (and the counselor doesn't seem like the tough type) - if/when it does, then we'll see whether she finds excuses to bail on it or not (she always has in the past). Going further with individual counseling (for both of us) is the only way that I see that we are going to have a chance.

Good thread everyone. Thanks. I am following and learning, but also getting confirmation at some times that what experience has taught me, it has taught others too.  More "trust you gut" stories.  Thanks for all!
