Hello! I'm a new member and read about this in the "Stop Walking on Eggshells" book. That is a lifesaver for me to be more educated, compassionate, and feel less angry and hopeless.
I am not sure yet how specific this group this group gets on details of situations, but had one yesterday that i'm trying to figure out how to deal with.
Look forward to meeting you online and learning from folks. I love my sister very much and today am trying to figure out how to deal with yesterday and answer a text from her, and how much to step back from the relationship. The book says temporary withdrawal is fine. I appreciate my sister when she is helping me look for a new house, and we're both dealing with the loss of two parents in the last two years, but yesterday was an icky stop sign for me.
Kindly,
Georgia Rose (not my real name)

Hi!
I'm new to this community, too. I just joined yesterday and I'm still feeling my way around the board, it appears like many people get pretty detail specific and that is acceptable. Also, it appears (although I could be wrong) that this is a relatively safe environment to vent frustrations r/t BPD.
If you provide some details I'm sure these helpful folks will weigh in.

RDM,
It's safe here, we're all anonymous too, and not judgemental
GR,
I'm sorry that you're dealing with the loss of your parents. It's hard enough, but I can imagine how much harder it would be of your sister has BPD traits.
What's going on and how can we help support you?
