I have borderline and I’m 22 years old I’ve only known that I have borderline for about a year it’s still so new to me I don’t really know how deal with it it’s so hard for me because most people I talk to are older and aren’t really going through the same things I am I want to talk to someone more close to my age

Hello BPD Suffer,

I'm glad that you reached out for support! No one has to be alone, and it takes strength to reach out to others   Your self-awareness is a good first step to healing.

This site,  however,  it tailored towards members who both working to improve their relationships with their loved ones who suffer from BPD, or detaching from relationships.  As such,  the resources for people with BPD here are limited, and a lot of discussions might be triggering.

As such, you can find support here:

Resources for BPD Sufferers

I wish you the best on your journey... .

Take Care,

Life sucks BPD,

learning to play the cards your dealt is hard, especially for someone with BPD,

I'm not 22 but know a few people about that age with BPD,

the only words of advice i can give, and they are likely  not exactly what you want to hear

(but you will find good advice is often like that) are

If you don't want to dysregulate keep your romantic relationships at arms length,

the closer you get to someone the more vulnerable you become

Just because you feel like a mental patient doesn't mean you have to act like one,
( this is a quote from perhaps the pre-eminent psyhc in the area (who also has BPD  M Linehan)

watch the movie A Beautiful  Mind ( academy award best picture )

hang tough.
