Hi everyone,

I am married with my wife (who else) for 36 years now. Only 2 years ago, after her so maniest mental breakdown, my wife was diagnosed with BPD. A shock at first, but also the feeling of “finally we know what is the problem”.
But soon after her therapy started,... .she finished it.

Now ups and downs, and cycles. But I am learning fast now, how to behave and how to survive and even better.

I hope to learn more here,... .I need that, as do you probably too.

I'm new here too BobbyLongshot, and I can honestly say that it has already been so helpful. I'm sure you will find help and encouragement here.

Welcome, keep reading, keep educating yourself and most importantly know that you are not alone.

BobbyLongshot,

Let me join Sew Confused in welcoming you.  There are a lot of great tools available on this site, but I think most valuable is the dialogue we can have with people how are facing similar challenges and frustrations.

You said that your wife went through therapy after diagnosis.  Were there any improvements/learning at that time?  Do you feel like she is feels like she's "cured", or has she given up and accepted this is just "how she is"?
