The next moves for me - More than anything I want to create a space for some kind of online Pete Walker book club/study group - in particular the blue book, Complex PTSD: From Surviving to Thriving. I just know for sure that reading the book and sharing my process with it out loud with others also on the journey, and doing the same, will be much more powerful than trying to do it on my own. I wonder if there are any other's here who might be interested in joining me in this recovery process?  #PETEWALKERROCKS

Whilst walking through the 'dark night of the soul', I set up an empowerment project to inspire myself and my family into recovery. Its called The Gifts Of Thriving, and is a youth led, inter-generational self empowerment movement, and a self-study, self-exploration and self empowerment,  expressive arts book club.

It is based around 2 books - The Gifts Of Imperfection by Brene Brown and Complex PTSD: From Surviving To Thriving by Pete Walker. (Neither of which I have read completely myself)   

So far its just been a private family project, but it feels like the time might be right for opening it up to anyone else who also resonates.

Posting about Pete Walker on bpdfamily is an excellent idea, and at the same time I would love the group to have its own culture, and it would need its own space for that to happen.

So, I am not sure where I am going to host the group, but for now its parked here www.myresilientheart.com/

Kwamina I had a black and white rescue cat called Cosmo, because she was enormous. From a distance she looked like a Friesian cow.
