Just curious
I see more posts about BPD daughters saying nasty things about mothers than I do about sons saying nasty things against parents of either gender or daughters saying nasty things about fathers. Is there a gender thing with the way BPD manifests?

it might be that in general, more females are diagnosed with BPD than males; a numbers thing.

I've seen it written many times that BPD is more prevalent in women. I seem to remember reading 3 out of 4 will be female. Darwinism would also suggest this, as the PD gene is called the warrior gene. So technically the BPD parents roll is to create more NPD and psychopaths etc... .during war time or times of great stress. In my opinion, and it is only my opinion, women are much better at having children than men. So evolution would encourage that gene to be more prominent in women. That said I also read around 20% of people with BPD didn't have a stressful upbringing or BPD mother, so... .
