Thinking back on my interactions she would often get into arguments/discussions over the littlest things sometimes. This was especially true if I did not agree, but even when something wasn't a big deal to me to change on my part and said as much she would still go into this endless diatribe trying to understand "why" I thought that way. Even when I would agree/give on something. It was exhausting even in "non heated" discussions because she would just go on and on about it.

Anyone else have experience with this and BPD relations? Is that another sign?

Pest,

My ex once told me that I should drink Gatorade when I feel dehyrdrated, I responded with I don't drink gatorade because in all honesty it's just sugar water. I was told that my response was very cutting! This coming from someone who continuously threw daggers at me.

Another incident was when she suggested I remove my bracelets so that I could feel energetically lighter. She had noticed old facebook pictures of me with bracelets on. I told her thank you for the suggestion, but the bracelets I have on currently, aren't the same ones I had on in those pictures. These have special meaning to me. She then went on to say how I was being defensive and that some subjects are gaping wounds for me.

I had once told her that I didn't want the relationship to go fast, because we were dealing with things at the time, and we'd be using ourselves as a distraction. A few weeks later she told me that I was using HER as a destraction.

Just a taste of what I had experienced in only 3 months. My heart goes out to those who dealt it with for many, many years.
