my daughter was recently diagnosed with bpd.  We’ve been walking this road for 10 years though.  The anger and manipulation and anxiety.  I am a single mom and feel alone.

Hi Mom@22,
Welcome to the group, this is a place where I don't feel alone anymore and I hope that you can find the same experience.
I see that your daughter is under 18.  It's good news that you have a diagnosis so young.
Is she willing to do therapy?  Do you have therapy for yourself as well?
We'd love to help.  Where can we start?  What are your biggest questions?  With affection (click to insert in post)

Hi, my 16 year old daughter was diagnosed too, 18 months ago, the diagnosis finally gave clarity to years of trauma, stress, distress and agonising bewilderment! The diagnoses came from out of our area, and is not recognized in adolescents where we live! Despite being diagnosed by a professor, honorary consultant, psychologist, and others in a professional team at a renowned London hospital. Where they produced a 9 page report, for my daughters clinical team. I further backed that up with several commissioned reports to advise  you could diagnose in adolescent Including their own governing body... the royal college of psychiatry.
