Me and my boyfriend have been together for almost 10 months now, he is my first love and everything. A little bit into talking, he informed me that he was diagnosed with Bipolar (by his counselor though.) 5 months in the relationship, we started having problems. We would argue about little things, like one time as a random last minute decision to go to the mall with my friend. He was upset that I didn't tell him, but it wasn't planned, it was just a random decision. We also got into an argument one time about how someone, a man, complimented my shoes, and i replied thank you. Little arguments like these started to happen pretty frequently, and now they're just about everyday. These arguments are always about how I am probably cheating, or how I am probably lying, or how I probably don't actually love him and don't want to be with him. These arguments can happen out of nowhere and anytime. I started to look into Bipolar type 2, and watching videos and reading articles so I could understand it more. For the most part, BipolarII seemed like it was what we were dealing with initially. But I started watching videos about BPD, because I love being informed about mental health topics in general, and by all means I am no professional (obviously Smiling (click to insert in post), but I started to realize that the symptoms treat are associated with BPD sound a lot like what is going on. It's upsetting because I don't believe he has ever been professionally diagnosed, his counselor specifically told hold that he has bipolar depression, but that's not a technical diagnosis. Instead of watching this videos alone, i started recommending that he watch these videos about BD as well. But when i brought up watching videos about BPD, he will say we will watch them together on facetime, but we never do. With the situation we are in right now, we won't be able to officially address this until July. I am hoping someone can please give me some advice! Thank you guys so much Smiling (click to insert in post)
