ex pwBPD was sent to the hospital today by our landlord

First, thank you for your help and guidance on my previous threads.
I got an email from the building manager saying there was an incident with my pwBPD and they wanted to know if I was on the premise. I said no and he requested I give them a call
My pwBPD was showing extremely psychotic behavior. He was threatening and harassing neighbors while naked, and having multiple conversations with non existant people.
He was taken to the hospital in an ambulence. The neighbors are not pressing charges, but we will be evicted if he goes back to the apartment.
I notified his family and good friend, who are making arrangements for him to move back to his home state with them.
He is sedated now. I havent spoken to him since I left in February and am not sure it would be helpful if I reached out now. I'm worried about him.
About the psychosis. About him getting out before his friends and family can get here. About him getting out early and trying to go to the apartment. He does not have his keys. He is in the er and I provided his medical history to the social worker there.
I went to go check on the cat and it looks like she is not only missing, but might have been for a while based on finding her scratching post outside, almost as to signal her home.
I'm a mess.

That sounds so incredibly stressful. My BPD partner engages in demonizing neighbors whom he suspects harbor misgivings about him (in some cases he is correct) though I've never experienced this level of behavior. How are you doing? How are you taking care of yourself?

Thank you for your reply on the water.
I'll be staying home from work tomorrow so I have time and space to process my emotions. I'm going to try to get in with my counselor and maybe start the search for my cat.
Honestly I'm a bit overwhelmed.

Hey Lightandshine, I'm sorry to hear about these developments, yet in my view it is for the best that your pwBPD is now in professional hands at the hospital. I had a similar experience with my BPDxW, who got so belligerent with our landlord that the landlord ended up taking us to Small Claims Court. I also went twice to the local hospital's Behavioral Health Unit to ask for help, because I was so upset about my Ex's suicide threats and erratic behavior. It sounds like you are going through a similar ordeal, so please know that you are not alone in struggling with this frightening disorder. It seems like you are handling it well.
